• Use the Blue colored link to save gif into your PC. Just copy the link and paste it in the Address Bar of your browser when gif appears right clik on and choose Save Image as, And save it anywhere you wish to.
• The Black marked link is used to use the Gif on your site or blog or anywhere on internet.

Someone has messaged me that How to display YouTube thumbnail in Facebook bringing it from Blog Post and While posting YouTube Video in Facebook it shows incorrect thumbnail. So here I am going to show you both of the ways one by one.

If you have posted YouTube Video in Blogger Blog Post and Want to Show Thumbnail in Facebook then follow these steps

First of all you need to know that you will have to add an extra code into your blogger post.

The real iframe code from YouTube will be added with an extra image code as describe below.

For the first way you will have to copy embed code and paste it into your blogger blog post's HTML view.

The embed code which you will take from YouTube will be similar to below one but Video ID which is in yellow highlighted will be changed (Size may however be changed).

<iframe width="440" height="320" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NxRnjjBtnfQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The above video code will not show a thumbnail until you don't add an image code with it. The image's code is shown below and should be added after </iframe>.

Customization

Replace "You Can Give Image Description Here" with any description of thumbnail if want to give it or else leave it as it is.

Replace "Change Video ID Here highlighted in yellow above" with the your video ID. (Here Video ID is from  My YouTube video, yours will be changed)

Explanations

After combination of both above codes. The final code will be something like below.

When you will put these both codes in HTML view of your post. Your post will show YouTube's thumbnail in Facebook and Blog Post's thumbnail.

Posting YouTube Video in Facebook Directly From YouTube and It is Showing Incorrect thumbnail

In the initial period of Facebook rising this issue was viral therefore Facebook's developers made a tool called Facebook Debug Tool.

1. First of all open debug tool
2. Then paste YouTube video URL and press button saying Debug.
3. After Debugging it will show you two buttons saying "Show Existing Scrape Information" and" Fetch New Scrape Information" show you various codes and a small image.
4. If small images is shown correctly then go with Show Existing Scrape information and paste your URL again in Facebook post, if the image is incorrect then press Fetch new scrape information.
5. Hope your problem is solved

Final Words

YouTube thumbnail plays a very important role in the office of SEO for driving traffic to your videos or post. These days Facebook is most used platform as huge traffic source. It should also be kept in mind that this traffic is just referral traffic but it matters in SEO. Now you can post videos with correct thumbnail in Facebook and Blog Post.
